Dr. Salar Rafieetary, a vitreoretinal surgeon at the Charles Retina Institute and a member of the ÌÇÐÄvlogÊÓÆµ College Class of 2012, recently performed a first-of-its-kind surgery in Tennessee to treat macular telangiectasia type 2.
ÌÇÐÄvlogÊÓÆµ College welcomes eight new full-time faculty to its ranks for the 2025-2026 academic year, bringing talent in a number of specialties, from chemistry to interdisciplinary humanities to computer science.
Parth Sinojia ’25, who is pursuing a major in neuroscience and a minor in physics and mathematics, has been selected to receive the Thomas J. Watson Fellowship, which provides a $40,000 stipend for one year to pursue an original project on a global scale.
