So proud that we created the Tennessee Advantage, which automatically awards a $31,000 scholarship to all Tennessee high school seniors who both qualify for the HOPE Scholarship and have a high school GPA that is 3.7 or higher unweighted or 4.0 or higher weighted. The best part is that the Tennessee Advantage scholarship can be stacked on top of your HOPE award and all other aid, and it is renewable for four years.  There is no separate application to complete. It is automatic if you qualify!

Tennessee students who apply to 糖心vlog视频 under the Early Decision I or II plan will also automatically receive the $3,000 Early Decision Grant and may also be eligible for the $500 Campus Visit Grant. More information on all of these awards can be found below.  Additionally, students residing in and attending high school in Memphis and Shelby County may apply for the Clarence Day Scholarship, which provides full tuition, housing, and meals for four years. Please review the criteria for each award.

Don鈥檛 leave money on the table. You must apply through Early Decision I or II to claim your $3,000 Early Decision Grant, and you must visit campus by December 1 of your senior year to claim your $500 Campus Visit Grant.  All scholarships and grants will be applied to your award package once you are admitted.

If you qualify for the HOPE Scholarship and have a 3.7 unweighted high school GPA or a 4.0 weighted GPA, you will automatically receive the Tennessee Advantage scholarship. That鈥檚 $34,000, regardless of need, stacked on top of your and any other aid you receive. 

Visit our campus by December 1 of your senior year of high school and, if you live outside of a 200-mile radius of Memphis (including Nashville) or you are a Shelby County resident who is Pell Grant eligible, you will automatically receive a $500 Campus Visit Grant added to your financial aid package when you are admitted. 

Plus, you can engage in all the cultural and educational opportunities that Memphis offers, including internships, fellowships, research opportunities, and jobs.
